I NEED HELP!! Loose pit running around?

Put some food outside for the puppy and a blanket, take your dogs out back or in your car as stated above, the dog I would say is just afraid of you as your of him, mabye try a pit rescue im sure theres an afterhours vets or animal control, are pits illegal in your area, Im from australia so Im unaware of the resources you have, but if animal services, local council cant help we all call the vets they generally shot on out to help. Is there emergencies animal control if your really afraid just say you have a pit on your door step acting strange not sure if he hurt or something?
