Water Dragon Question PLease HELP ME OUT?

i just got a 2-4 mth old water dragon last week adn he been eating crickets but the other day we got about 12 inches of snow and every live bait store hasnt gotten any bait in. he wont eat vegs. or fruits. can he really eat regular worms (earthworms?) and is he the proper age? they really didnt tell me exactly all that he ate just the big names that i dont understand... please help me
