A TV with no plug, that apparently "works good."?

'Sup. I recently noticed a TV on my neighbor's lawn. The remote was taped to it, and on said thick, blue tape, was written "works good." I did what any sane person would do and trash-picked it. It wasn't until later that I realized it didn't a plug. It had the base of the wire, but everything had been cut off. Nothing to connect the TV with the socket. Any advice on the thing? Maybe, how to get it working, new wire, or whatever?
