In grade school, do you remember enthusiastically answering a question, only to find you were totally wrong ?

In second grade, teacher asked, "Can anyone tell me into which organ, in our body, does our breath go?" Ooh, I knew the answer, I raised my hand high, and when the teacher looked my way, I bellowed out, "Its the gizzard." Teacher looked at me for another half second, then said, "Can anyone else tell me the real answer?" To which cousin Tommy (good old cousin Tommy) replied, "Yes, Teacher, its the lungs". "That's right, Tommy," said Teacher. After which she refused to look in my direction for the rest of the cl period.
