2004 Mazda Tribute... 70k, $12000... Should I?

Get the Honda. Mazdas are very fragile in the expensive areas-i.e. Engine and transmission. This particular vehicle has the dubious distinction of being co-developed with Ford. Other than upgraded interior materials it is no different than the average Ford Escape. If mileage is a major concern and you still prefer the Mazda-drive a 4 cylinder version. Good Luck
